How it all started

Our journey began at the Global Health Summer School in Paris, 2023, an event marked by its vibrant exchange of ideas and diverse cultural interactions.

About project

“One Health or Many Health? A Multidisciplinary, Multicultural Approach to Global Health.” (VersaHealth) is a Circle U. seed funded project with the aim to analyse the diverse perspectives and challenges in global health.

A workshop on challenges and perspectives related to global health will be organized in Belgrade, Serbia.

This project is a unique assembly of perspectives and approaches from different academic and cultural backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of diverse methodologies in understanding and addressing global health issues.

The main goals of the project are: a) to identify and critically assess the different perspectives and approaches to challenges in global health, b) to distinguish the differences and similarities in contemporary challenges in public health in each of the partner universities’ countries and beyond.

The lecturers in the workshop will be PhD students from different faculties (Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy, Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies) of partner universities with different fields of study (migrant law, social history of medicine, medical ethics, the health-security nexus, communicable diseases control, the burden of non-communicable diseases).
